In the fifth Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, host Salman Khan took Jiya Shankar to task for a concerning incident that occurred during a task. In the episode, Elvish Yadav was given the authority to ask other contestants to perform tasks as per his wishes until a certain point. Jiya was assigned the task of fetching a glass of water for Elvish, but instead, she allegedly mixed hand wash in the water and handed it to him.
Upon discovering what had happened, Elvish confronted Jiya, who initially denied any wrongdoing and claimed she hadn’t added anything harmful to the water. However, Salman Khan intervened, calling out Jiya for her behavior and criticizing other contestants for not intervening or taking the situation seriously.
Feeling the weight of her actions, Jiya eventually apologized to Elvish in front of everyone. She admitted that she wasn’t thinking clearly at the time and acknowledged her mistake, even referring to herself as “dumb.” In the end, Elvish graciously accepted her apology, saying, “It’s okay.”
