UP CM Yogi Adityanath Awaits Security Agencies’ Report on Seema Haider-Sachin Meena Love Story
The case of Pakistani woman Seema Haider, who entered India illegally via Nepal to be with her Indian partner Sachin Meena, has attracted considerable attention and is now being referred to as a ‘cross-border case of love.’ Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has commented on the matter, stating that a decision will be made after security agencies provide a detailed report on the situation.
Seema Haider claims to have met Sachin Meena through the online mobile game PUBG in 2020, and their virtual friendship evolved into love. In March of this year, she traveled from Pakistan to Nepal to spend time with him in a hotel in Kathmandu. Subsequently, in May, she crossed into India illegally and was arrested alongside Sachin Meena on July 4. They were granted bail three days later.
Since then, Seema Haider, referred to as ‘Pakistani Bhabhi,’ has been in the media spotlight and has denied allegations of being a ‘Pakistani spy.’ The case has prompted the involvement of Uttar Pradesh’s anti-terrorism squad (UP-ATS) and central intelligence agencies. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has sought detailed reports from Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Uttar Pradesh Police regarding Seema Haider’s travel through Nepal to reach Noida from Karachi, Pakistan. The central agencies are actively investigating the matter.
